For the very first time, Hublot, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer has launched a watch dedicated to an international sport coming to India

In order to celebrate the first ever Formula 1 TM Grand-Prix in New Delhi, Hublot, the official watchmaker of Formula 1 TM launched F1 King Power India. Sporting the famous F1 logo and colours of the Indian flag on its dial and bracelet, this iconic watch features several unique aspects of the sport and is made from an array of high-tech materials inspired by Formula 1.

The ceramic bezel with a circular-grained satin finish is adorned with multiple holes to represent a high performance brake disk. The strap is made from rubber and Nomex, a synthetic fibre developed by Dupont De Nemours and used – thanks to its very low combustibility and thermostability – to make the suits worn by F1 drivers. The start, reset, and split push buttons and the 30-minute counter at 3 o’ clock look trendy.

With the visionary creativity of the 21st century, Hublot is known for using hi-tech methods of manufacture and combining materials like ceramic, carbon, tantalum, tungsten, titanium and rubber with conventional materials such as gold, platinum, steel, diamonds and precious stones; while remaining true to the Swiss tradition. In the field of luxury watch making, Hublot is the pioneer of fusion— about 30 years ago, they were the first ones to fuse precious metals with functional rubber to create aesthetic designs.

And with F1 King Power India, they are pioneering yet again. For the very first time, a luxury Swiss watch manufacturer has launched a watch dedicated to an international sport coming to India. In view of the shared values of high-end quality, creativity and authenticity, the match of F1 and Hublot is a natural one.
