Aditya Roy Kapoor is all set to be the newest star on the block with pivotal roles in two big year-end releases, Action Replayy and Guzaarish

Tall, lean and super cool, his cute smile and weird hairdo have made this young lad a hot favourite amongst the girls across the country. Aditya Roy Kapoor is savouring his moment in the sun, with Guzaarish and Action Replayy having propelled him into the spotlight.

A former Channel V VJ, Aditya had debuted on the silver screen last year with Vipul Shah’s big-budget flick London Dreams. For him, none of it was planned, destiny unfolded on its own and a chance successful audition on a friend’s persuasion landed him first at Channel V’s office and then on Shah’s film sets. With two releases this year, almost back to back, he is all set to be the flavour of the season.

Yet, he has been nervously biting his nails every minute awaiting the audience response. “I am very anxious as both the movies are poles apart. They are from two completely different genres and from two directors who belong to two different schools of thought,” says Aditya.

His outlandish hairdo is also a topic of great discussion. He plays it down, saying, “I have stuck to this style since I was in class X.”

Movies aren’t the only things keeping him busy. He is a self-confessed big music fan and loves to strum the guitar and write as well. Playing football and cricket are also passions that keep this lanky actor fit.
