FORM ZAUBERFLOETE BY ROSENTHAL
Danish artist and designer Bjorn Winblad’s creations are strongly influenced by his love for music. He decided to transfer his favourite opera Zauberfloete by Mozart into porcelain. Every piece of slight oriental flavour depicts a different scene from the opera and carries the text of the scene depicted, decorated in gold. The relief surfaces are not glazed but smoothed and polished to produce the delicate matte finish that contrasts with the glaze of the rest of the piece.
