You may see her typically at work in a chic Chanel business suit or at a gallery opening or art exposition in figure-hugging Hervé Léger. She is the lady who stands out in a crowd of fabulous dressers. Anjali Chawla, Delhi socialite and philanthropist is a key player in the real estate development industry in India. As director of BPTP Limited, she was awarded the young entrepreneur of the year award by the FICCI Ladies Organisation for her ‘dynamic contribution to the real estate industry’. And of course she received it in stylish Sabyasachi. Patron of the Rang Rasiya Freedom of Expression Art Movement which recently celebrated Raja Ravi Varma’s birth anniversary, the young businesswoman has an obvious penchant for all things beautiful. Her closets overflow with Chanel bags, belts, jackets, pearls and dresses. Long flowing gowns from Roberto Cavalli and Alexander McQueen are favourites for a dressy evening out, displaying a taste for western rather than traditional wear. And while she claims that she is “not a jewellery person”, her style philosophy dictates that “elegance is key”
