A baggy hip with pleats can be a tad mannish or frumpy, but is a fashion challenge worth taking up. Wide pinstriped suit versions follow YSL’s Le Smoking. Pyjamas are ultra haute on the runways right now, whether with a drawstring or an elasticised waist. Comfort marries fashion again (though we know what follows soon after). Walk on!

You can play hide and seek with patterned net, or be an ethereal goddess in wispy chiffon. Lace is deliciously tantalising. Lightweight jerseys create a sexy, sporty look. Sheer trousers look great, especially when they have some volume and drape. The trick is to know the art of placement, and carry off an outfit with unselfconscious confidence and assurance. You can be a nymphet or a vixen, innocent or sinful. Whether you wear it on bare skin, or layer over fitted pieces, is your call. Just please do not overstep boundaries into tart-land.
