An earlier capsule range was presented at Delhi Fashion Week’s main venue, Emporio, but this was only a selection of “twelve garments, which was like a trailor of a movie”, explained the designer. Dramatic silhouettes, exaggerated details and Bal’s signature play with fabric and texture defined this line, which took inspiration from Victorian eras and vintage elements. The disturbing fashion illusion was enhanced with an overall feel that was “dark, dangerous and sexy, as if it were a feast for glamorous vampires”, summarised Bal.
