Okay, so she’s not the first model to have Bollywood dreams. But Riya Ray is doing some pretty interesting things along the way. After shaking a leg with Akshay Kumar in the music video of Sing is Kinng featuring RDB and Snoop Dogg, she now figures in Dido’s new video. “It’s a lifetime opportunity to shoot with your favourite singer,” gushes the pretty woman. Themed around life in Mumbai and shot in India, the video has Riya playing, well, a model. The Carrie Bradshaw loving fashionista who admits to being a handbag addict – she loves YSL, Burberry and Lulu Guiness – describes her personal style as simple, sexy and big on bling. As for dreams, “the most amazing thing would be to represent India on the international scene.” And Bollywood’s just waiting to happen.
