The September edition of Verve Lounge Mumbai was held at the courtyard of Flamboyantè – the open air restaurant at the city’s World Trade center. In keeping with the bridal theme of the September issue, two young designers – Sherina Dalamal (Cherie D) and Sonali Dalwani (Crimzon) – showcased their work at the lounge with a bling installation. (Think sparkles and sari-draped mannequins.) The guestlist was as eclectic as ever, as investment bankers mingled with animation artists, art dealers discussed career options with actors and young CEOs talked wine-lists with fashion professors.
