Bubble Lounge owner Mandira Nath on being salon perfect

Beauty might be skin deep but Mandira Nath, owner of the chic and trendy Bubble Lounge in Delhi, treats it with deep reverence. The erstwhile model and Miss India aspirant, launched the salon along with her partner Anjali Vishwanathan, in 2000 in South Delhi to offer the city’s pretty women a hip new alternative to run-of-the-mill beauty parlours and stiff hotels. Today, her haven of beauty—which offers handpicked staff and high-end services like body polishing, aroma massages and spa treatments — attracts the crème-de-la-crème of the capital’s femmes including Naina Mittal, designers Gauri and Nainika and Aparna Chandra as well as visiting Bollywood beauties like Riya Sen and Pooja Bedi. Mandira, who co-launched another branch of the salon in the capital at Greater Kailash II last year, hopes to open many more in the coming days. The fashionista strongly recommends a holistic view to living, especially after 30. “Include yoga, good diet and sleep, regular vacations and generous doses of beauty spa, massages and skincare and you’ll be happy and beautiful forever.” This one’s intent not to let the beauty bubble burst
