Louis Vuitton fans have more to rejoice. The French luxe bag and luggage maker, has added to its ever-growing watch collection. The brand had forayed into the luxury watch segment fairly recently. Why watches, you may wonder. “We launched our first watch collection in 2002. Entry into this new area was quite natural; we wanted to get involved with everything to do with travel,” explains Benoit-Louis Vuitton, the watches special order manager. These very high-end watches get a lot of special orders from top clients whose “names can’t be disclosed,” according to him. The good news for the brand’s fan following in India is, these special watches will be available at the luxury mall Emporio, in Delhi by the end of the year. Bangalore will also have this stunning collection soon.

The Emprise Watch
Far from being a simple variation of the Tambour, this dress watch is its counterpart: everything the former conquers through sheer strength, the later gains through delicacy. Reflecting a consistent and original logic, this latest addition confirms the perfect alliance between the trunk maker and its artistic director – the Louis Vuitton style through the prism of designer Marc Jacobs.

The extreme purity of the crocodile strap offers a watch with a sharp profile, a refined silhouette. Available in gold, the watch is the quintessence of the LV spirit - timeless and authentic elegance. The corners of the case reproduce trunk corners, whereas each bracelet is fitted with a gold piece recalling the famous Louis Vuitton lock.

Designed by Marc Jacobs, Emprise is available in four variants, two women’s models, a masculine version and a more subtle series, which play with contrasts and genres. In the jewellery collection, step-cut diamonds and pink sapphires are skilfully incorporated. Made in the company’s workshops in Switzerland, the Emprise watch embodies the nobility of impeccable craftsmanship.
