DELNA POONAWALLA
Delna Poonawalla, of the reputed Poonawalla family, recently launched her stylish flagship store in Mumbai. Showing a preview of her two versatile lines — Funky Princess and Diamond Couture — Poonawalla gave us a sneak peek into the dramatic cuts and contemporary styles on offer. Her Funky Princess creations consist of racy polka dots, stripes, overlap tops and harem pants, while beautiful split saris in different colour combinations and long, flowing gowns make up the Diamond Couture line. Some of her other original ideas include a ‘curved pallu’ which is made narrower, to fit well on the shoulder and is especially suited for petite women. One of the most unique features are her extraordinary hat designs. The line also offers specialised knitwear, as well as menswear.

CHAMOMILE
