Discover gloriously sunny colours in the hottest new collection from Shiseido in partnership with Dick Page, one of the most sought after names in the make-up industry
After more than 20 years in the business, British make-up artist Dick Page is almost synonymous with the art of using cosmetics. Top designers like Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs rely on Page every season to customise make-up looks for their runway collections. Known as the king of ‘no make-up’ make-up, Page has also worked his wonders on Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes for many international covers.
And now one of the key players in the beauty market, Shiseido The Makeup has got him on board as their artistic director. The latest spring/summer collection from the brand, celebrates this collaboration. Page’s love for colour comes through in the range, alive with bright summery pastels.
Delicate shades of blues, pinks, yellows and pale corals give a refreshingly chic look with sparkling vitality. The artist says, “Make-up is a bit like art. But the face is not a blank canvas. It’s alive with dimension and energy. What you add to it is part of the fun and joy. The products for Shiseido’s spring/summer 2008 express that joy — translucent powders that seem liquid, pureness of colour and extraordinary textures. How you wear it is up to you.”
Be a summer goddess with subtle yet vibrant hues with eyes that light up with the cool radiance of a pastel yellow eyeshadow, shimmering lipsticks with glossy lustre in cheerful pinks and tinted powders — the latter are available in refillable cases – that give you flawless skin.
