Gucci recently launched its largest store in the world – a 46,000-square-foot space at the Trump Tower, 5th Avenue, New York, one of the most expensive shopping streets on the planet. To mark the occasion, the Italian luxury retailer held a benefit dinner at the United Nations with Madonna and UNICEF. This glitzy and star-studded affair drew many big names at the red carpet reception and helped raise £1.8 million for poor children around the globe. Tom Cruise apparently lost out to a bidder for a sports package that included an hour of football with David Beckham!
