Verve toasts some of the most promising faces of 2008
Tamara is fascinated by everything related to fashion and is able to draw inspiration from anywhere – a dramatic fashion feature, a creative collection, a provoking campaign, a photography book or just working with the top professionals in the business. As personal style goes, she’s not much into designer clothes and would rather mix and match and accessorise with shawls, hats and heeled boots. Not to mention indulge her fetish for shoes. “It’s always the shoes I’m after – it’s a real stylist’s nightmare. There’s nothing like being able to dig around at a shoot and try on all the stylist’s clothes.” Comfortably classy with minimal jewellery, natural make-up and casual messy hair sums up her style. This year, with so many designer brands slated to come in, she hopes to get exciting work in exclusive launch campaigns. “I would also love to finally finish my relief painting.”
