Malini Agarwaalla now launches a signature couture collection of customised metaphysical, inspirational and spiritual handbags which encompass three ranges. In the first, precious stones have been inspired by antique Mughal jewellery. The second line uses an art deco theme with a variety of semi-precious stones. While the third range of bags is strikingly bejewelled with Swarovski stones. One creation that really stands out is a round one plated in 18 carat rhodium gold and breathtakingly embellished with Labrodorite. This is a truly dramatic gemstone whose intense colours range from the typical blues and violets through greens, yellows, pinks and oranges, changing according to the angle of light refraction. Some rare specimens, like the ones used here, display all these colours simultaneously, even though the base of the stone is a silvery grey. This gorgeous creation is a true style statement in itself.
