Smoked Chicken, Anyone?
Published: Volume 15, Issue 8, August, 2007

Tucked away in the heart of South Mumbai’s Cuffe Parade, a largely commercial area – right in the centre of the World Trade Centre – is a warm, welcoming eatery that threw open its doors to the public last month. Flamboyante – named after the Gulmohar Tree that stands proudly in its open space, is the brainchild of restaurateur Amrish Arora. The seating under the skies (amply covered during the monsoons) is a rare sight in the cluttered metropolis. The well-designed restaurant also boasts an inner eating area on two levels, with air-conditioned comfort.

Interestingly, Flamboyante is a deli, a bar and an Asian restaurant…all rolled into one. Right now, you can order from the entire selection in all the different spaces.
