DIM lights, sofas draped in black, crystal-studded centrepieces, a plush club and a cocktail lounge…. In their formal best, Mumbai's uberati sashayed in, at the Hotel Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, to celebrate the arrival of Escada in India. As CEO, Frank Rheinboldt, along with Jyoti and Nitin Kasliwal played host, the suave set sipped coolers, chatted about the new entrant on the glam circuit and paid close attention to the music dished out by DJ Monsieur Velvet from Paris.
