They are young, free-spirited and love to explore the world. For them, travelling is a way of life. Verve takes a peek into the personal albums of four feisty women bitten hard by the travel bug

FARAH KHAN: Jewellery designer
Meeting new people, experiencing fresh flavours, discovering fascinating places and getting glimpses into the self - these elements embody the essence of travelling for Farah Khan Ali. Recently, she joined her husband Aqueel on a trip to Egypt, a country where traffic is as chaotic as Mumbai and the people just as hospitable. So she felt right at home. "I don't know how my husband does these trips so often," she jokes. Though jumping on and off planes constantly and a very tight schedule left the couple jetlagged for most of the trip, a visit to the Pyramids, the papyrus museum, a cruise on the River Nile enabled them to snatch a few intimate moments. To Farah, spontaneity is important while on the go. Luckily, her husband is always encouraging her to try the unusual. The Pyramids left a lasting impression on the young designer. "It was an enduring experience. You are left feeling so small in comparison to their stature. You realise there is a bigger picture to this world."
