Verve takes you behind the scenes of Cue's preview of its edgy and striking collection for this year's Fashion Week in Delhi

	It was a sneak preview of a preview. Earlier in March, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna of Cue held an intimate function at Bacci, Delhi's swanky lounge bar, to display their collection, Light Fantastique, for the Will's Lifestyle India Fashion Week to a select audience. The idea was to get reactions of A-list-clients and media to their offering before the big-ticket fashion event. Dramatic, with hints of metallic, the darkly trendy collection was nonetheless eminently wearable. What started as a cocktail evening ended up as a full-blown party, with the likes of Rohit Bal, Priya Chatwal, Charu Sachdev and Miss India, Neha Kapoor, adding glamour to the event. Verve was there before everyone else to get a dekko. As privileged backstage invitees - the only ones - we got all the inside action on how the designer duo ideated and brainstormed to put together the very glam look.
