For those who have been unable to wipe out veteran photographer, Raghu Rai's terrifying images of the Bhopal disaster, after so many years, his exhibition titled Just By The Way - rocks, clouds and nudes, at Mumbai's J. Nicholson Gallery, National Centre for the Performing Arts, presents a different side. Far from his haunting frames of the Taj Mahal bathed in magical colours and light at all hours of the day or his stark news photographs in India's prominent newsmagazine India Today, where he was director of photography for many years (he later served on the jury for World Press Photo), Just By The Way…, travels through various sensibilities and moods. Experience the amazing lightness of being in the various shapes of clouds that form a convincing backdrop to stony vistas, musical evenings and a couple of neglected donkeys. Vintage Rai!
