Actress, currently shooting for four feature films, hosting a new show on CNBC and presenting live events like the Cartier elephant polo match and the Teachers Achievement Awards.
Woman in a man's world: I do not perceive my life through a gender bias because in the space that I inhabit I see women and men striving equally towards achieving personal and common goals. Mistress of your own destiny? Though I am a fatalist I believe that self-determinism and free-will go a long way in ultimately determining destiny.... Diva moment: Walking the red carpet at the international Emmy Awards in New York and having the paparazzi going wild, clicking and calling out my name. I am the first Indian woman to present an award at the Emmy's and it was a truly heady, fun experience. Personal style: Though my personal style is constantly evolving what remains unchanged is a belief in understatement, incorporating both classic and contemporary elements with a highly personal, quirky spark. Cartier: I like Cartier because it epitomises my own style credo -individualistic yet timeless elegance.
