Chairwoman and Chief Creative Officer, VGC Vyas Gianetti Creative....
Essence of a modern woman: Today, we see our existence as independent from a family - not that we don't relate to the family. Unlike women earlier, we also see ourselves as individuals who have the right to express our uniqueness which is the root of everything. We are living in a more idiosynciatic age than ever before. Painting: Came upon me - I just had an urge to paint. I could not control it. Once I see something in my mind's eye, whether a painting or my work, I just do it. Chairwoman: I refuse to call myself Chairman or Chairperson. Why should I become a man or like a man? I can grow my talent without having to be one. Traditionally, women have not been in these situations, there is a glass ceiling but a few empowered women can break that ceiling. Business philosophy: We align our thoughts internationally but are, in essence, very local. Role model: I have no role models. In the end, I process everything and get the right answers in my mind and heart - once I am convinced, it doesn't bother me what people say. Personal philosophy: Learn by being humble and non-judgemental and do not be scared to think big.
