Champagne hues and Swarovski crystals were the main highlights of fashion designer Manish Malhotra's Moët & Chandon outfit
The international brand has collaborated with the world's top designers, in the past, to create a special dress dubbed as the Moët & Chandon outfit. The first such creation was a tribute to Vivienne Westwood in 1998. Some of the famous M&C creations are Julian MacDonald's famous Swarovski design, John Rocha's outfit that utilised the label's classic ribbon as the main theme and Ji Haye's glass dress that paid tribute to the classic champagne bottle. This year, Manish Malhotra, who has reinvented Bollywood's fashion trends, was given the honour of designing the M & C dress. His creation is a representation of the champagne's effervescent spirit. The champagne-coloured outfit, inspired by traditional Indian weddings, has a bodice encrusted with thousands of Swarovski crystals and a stole. Besides this stunning design, he also showed an impressive line of ensembles, which left the audience asking for more. |
