An artist, whose interest was fired by photography a few years ago, he believes in capturing every moment that ignites his imagination. Tehran-born Ehsan Faridafshar - who is now based in Pune - has dabbled in the arts ever since he stepped into his teens. The 27-year-old lensman, has, over the years, experimented with different forms of creativity, having also directed two films at school level. The author of two publications, Harfhaye Shabane (Night Talks) and Nimeye Ghom Shodeye Man (The Forgotten Half Of Me), his work covers a wide spectrum - landscapes, news, people. He prefers the artistic, "which is very close to me; for I look out for my soul and my mind even as I nurture new places and ideas." No wonder then, that his work shows distinct signs of his expressionistic inclinations as is seen in his 'rotation' series that turns your sensibilities almost upside down.... Are you a photographer with a fresh perspective on life? Do you have creative pictures that capture the essence of existence? Send in your compositions to art@verveonline.com. The best images will be featured in Framed.
