Three enterprising women - Vidya Zaveri, Ameeta Shah and Nandini Mariwala - showcase their passion for beautiful things in their new signature line
Although Nandini is particular about promoting all things Indian, she has discovered the perfect way to blend a traditional Indonesian craft with ethnic essences. Employing women artisans in Indonesia to custom-make her cane creations, she has them detailed and finished by one of the 14 Indian families of artisans that she supports.
So successful was the event that come 6 p.m. they were all sold out! Vidya and Ameeta will soon embark on their next projects - a showing in Delhi followed by one in Hyderabad. Nandini on the other hand, will get down to customising an unimaginable volume of orders that has added to her already busy export schedule. |
