While Italian, Chinese, Spanish food festivals roll over. It's now time to dig in to some old desi Rampuri Cuisine. This is what exactly happened when all the celebrities gathered together at the Saffron at JW Marriott as Ad Man Prahlad Kakkar along with wife Mitali Kakkar hosted a Chef's Table on August 17, 2006 to announce the launch of the Rampuri Food Festival at JW Marriott.

Celebrities present for the Chef's Table were Pooja Bedi, Singer Shaan along with wife Radhika, Rajesh and Zeba Kohli, Roshan & Shaheen Abbas, Sandhya Mridul, Shibani Kashyap, Gauhar Khan, Model Urvashi was accompanied with her sister who came from Delhi.

All said and eaten it was a fun evening, one which sure must have made Chef Gopal Iyer very proud.

ABOUT SAFFRON
The delights of the elite, the pursuits of the bourgeois, Saffron as the name suggests evokes memories of the imperial era. Ornate paintings and authentic Indian artefacts coupled with soft romantic lights further enhance the dining experience.

Saffron is open from 7:00 pm to 12:00 p.m. on weekdays and till 12:30 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday. The restaurant can seat 74 people with a private dining area for 16.
