And yet, there was a sudden silence - followed by delighted gasps - when Hema Malini and Mumtaz walked the ramp, reviving golden memories. Designers, Shahid Amir and Vikram Phadnis, basked in the attention as the glitterati was treated to a grand showing of their creations on a Saturday night at the J W Mariott, Mumbai.
