Winners of Colour Trophy in DelhiL'Oréal Professionnel, the pioneer of the hairdressing industry, worldwide, announces the grand finale of COLOUR TROPHY 2006, the most glamorous and prestigious hairdressing event in India. After a tough round of judging at the photo entry level, and an even more competitive regional finals 28 participants from all over India will now compete in the Grand Finale to be held on the 26th and 27th September 2006. The winner will get a chance to experience the UK COLOUR TROPHY 2007 and will also be a judge at COLOUR TROPHY India 2007.

The judges for the four regional rounds were:
South: Celebrity Hairstylist Alim Hakim, internationally renowned fashion designer James Ferreira, ace photographer Rafiq Sayed, much-admired editor in the Indian media circuit Satya Saran and the accomplished make-up artist Mehera Kolah

Winners of Colour Trophy in MumbaiNorth: winner of the first ever L'Oréal Professionnel COLOUR TROPHY in India and Cosmopolitan Fashion Award - Neeru Radhakrishnan, celebrated fashion designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh, leading photographer Colstan Julian, Publisher of the Ogaan group Archana Pillai and renowned make up artist Michelle Tung.

North: Technical Director for the Guy Kremer Salon Guillaume Vappereau, Tarun Khiwal, renowned fashion photographer, Ruchika Mehta, distinguished fashion editor and Vipul Bhagat, the talented make-up artist and celebrated fashion designer Narendra Kumar.

West: Technical Director for the Guy Kremer Salon - Guillaume Vappereau, Darren Centofanti, renowned fashion photographer, Raunaq Roy, editor - Beautiful People / Indiawali Bride, Marvie Beck the accomplished make-up artist and fêted fashion designer Lascelles Symons.

The regional finals of the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy for all four zones witnessed a sea of talent splurge onto the stage. A total of 28 inspiring and talented individuals from each zone worked their scissors and hands through the tresses and festooned their models hair with colour to create exceptional looks and styles. The participants felt a surge of adrenalin as they created magnificent looks to compete for the three main categories to put them one ahead of the rest.

Winners of Colour Trophy in BangaloreThe 3 Primary Categories for the L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy are: New Generation Hair Colourist Award which is for the budding hairstylists below 25 years of age and are in their first year of their profession as a hairdresser; Men's Image Award a stage to create hairstyles for men and optimistically create an identity for them. The Colour Trophy Award will be the most coveted hairstyling award in the country. Unquestionably detaching the paramount from the common, this award is the much awaited and the most challenging to win.

As the competition heated up, each of the earnest participants jadedly endeavored to give their models the best look to impress the judges with a finesse and inimitability of their own. The participants at the event complimented each other while the ego surged to an all time high as they created magnificent looks to deviate in appearance and style from their competitors to put them one ahead of the rest. The judges faced a big challenge to choose the best looks and reveal it to the much awaited anticipation of the audience.
