Designer Manish Arora (WLIFW) who spun many an intricate tale on his finely patchworked skirts (Ujjwala Raut displayed the prisms of many-edged snowflakes on hers) set the scene with digi-printed ramp and backdrop, featuring faces with colourful turbans and jewellery. Christmas scenarios, Indian architectural scenes in fabric with cutouts of the Qutb Minar and the Taj Mahal, a fabulous peacock feathers opener - all lined up for the finale, seated primly on stools along the ramp, embellished with the same print.
