Paint your face in tropical hues

  • Bloom in pure colour this spring. Try a fresh approach to make up by experimenting with bright shades.
  • Sweep lavender sky eyeshadow to create a dramatic effect under the browbone or use a silver highlighter to play it safe. Blend overgrown green eyeshadow on your eyelids.
  • Line lower lashes with the mint kohl sparkler for a brighter look. Line the inner eye very carefully with a white eye pencil to make the eyes look bigger.
  • Choose a foundation that will match your skin tone perfectly. Yellow undertones are generally better suited to Indian skin. Blend foundation on the ears as well as the entire neck till the neckline or it will look patchy and artificial.
  • To avoid mascara smudging or running due to humidity, especially in coastal cities, use waterproof mascara. For extra volume, first sweep the brush on the eyelashes downwards. Wait for a few seconds, then brush in the upward direction. A smaller brush will give the eyelashes a more intense effect.
  • Coral is a big hue for spring. Sport this juicy colour in the sun. Alternatively brush on a shimmering pale pink gloss for the night.
