On a clear Saturday night, society divas, corporate bigwigs and cine stars rubbed well-groomed shoulders at New York-based designer, Gazala’s debut showing in India, at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace and Tower. Ably supported by Verve, the packed to its seams fashion show and art fund-raiser, in aid of HIV-affected children, showcased the city’s heartbeats at its best. In the smoothly orchestrated finale, Sushmita Sen as the Verve showstopper walked the ramp, spontaneously greeting friends and fans with warm, flying kisses.
