“Good Morning, Mumbai!” Her crisp tones greet the awakening metropolis as it tunes in to Go 92.5 FM, six days of the week. Early bird, Tarana Raja Kapoor, enjoys her freedom to interact ‘live’ with her audience. “It’s exciting and challenging,” says the loquacious RJ and anchor, who dabbles in television soaps as well (Sanjivani, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kumkum, to name a few). Her love of reading “anything I can lay my hands on”, holds her in good stead as she is called upon to talk about things as diverse as the bumper-to-bumper traffic in Mumbai, Sachin Tendulkar’s Ferrari or Amitabh Bachchan’s wardrobe. “I cannot crawl into a shell and moan, ‘Oh, God. What do I do now?’ I have to keep the momentum going....” And, in the process, silence everyone around her!
