Farah Khan and glamour go hand in hand, not only does she come from a highly respected bollywood family but is also an extremely talented Jewellery designer. Farah, being the daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and renowned interior designer Zarine Khan, it seems as though creativity runs in her blood. While she could lived life in a social whirl she decided to follow her instinct and study at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America, in Los Angeles. No wonder this class topper manages to design some of the finest pieces of jewellery around town.

“Designing is not just about getting inspired from what you have seen in jewellery, but the process of being able to find design wherever you go. I am inspired through the process of life and my experiences of it”, speaking from her experiences in the past 12 years. Each piece of jewellery she designs is very close to her heart and something that is created by the finest craftsmen in the country. She emphasises on jewellery that is intricate and detailed, with a bold and romantic feel to it. The collection is made up of a combination of diamond chandeliers with exotic gems like amethysts, blue topaz and tanzanite, Ornate citrine drop earrings, contemporary diamond pendants and dressy bracelets to name a few. Her upcoming fall collections are called “Tassels –Handbags –Lace – and Jamevaar”.

Some of her clients include the who’s who of bollywood including Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan, Perizaad Zorabian and Celina Jaitley. The best quote though comes from Celina who says “ There are three important jewels without which life is not fulfilled… love, happiness and Farah’s jewels”.
