The foodie brigade braved the monsoon downpour to make it to the opening of restaurateurs, Rahul and Malini Akerkar’s latest ‘offspring’, Indigo Delicatessen in Mumbai, at a special three-day food preview. Tucked away in a small lane in South Mumbai, the café, food store and takeout, all rolled into one, holds out great promise of freshly baked breads, creamy cakes and cheeses from every corner of the world.
