Making umpteen guest appearances on prime time television, jiving at live shows in different metros and signing countless autographs leaves the country’s first ‘Indian Idol’ with little time for family and fun. Born to simple, middle class folk in Mumbai, 24-year-old Abhijeet Sawant completed his B Com, as a safety net, before taking the plunge into the uncertain world of entertainment. But, the singer has taken to all the adulation like a fish to water. With fans swooning over his killer smile and dulcet voice, his album, Aapka Abhijeet, has quickly crossed the half million mark.
