New York-based Karam Puri is a man of many trades. Not only does the Broadway actor churn out funky music in his part-time job as a DJ, but he also skilfully combines his passion for photography with his inspirational love for India. During his frequent trips to the country, he delights in training his lens on a variety of people often in colourful headgear and ethnic garb in ordinary situations. Verve presents a fascinating preview of his first solo exhibition, scheduled for the summer of 2005
Are you a photographer with a fresh perspective on life? Do you have creative pictures that capture the essence of existence? Send in your compositions to art@verveonline.com. The best images will be featured in Framed.
