PIERRE GAUTHIER

Nineteen years in the business has made Pierre Gauthier a name to reckon with amongst the fashion-conscious royal elite of Europe. Specialising in exclusive haute couture originals, which he himself hand, embroiders, the designer was recently in the city to help promote an elaborate jewellery collection by ORRA, for which he created a unique set of fourteen evening ensembles. This being his first ever trip to India, the man hopes to be able to travel after the round of events and press conferences and shows are over; to take in the culture and tradition of the country. And who knows, after dressing up Princess Matilda (future queen of Belgium) and Princess Maxima (from the Netherlands), our very own aristocrats could be next on his list!
