Style Capital-Fashion and politics make a heady cocktail as Kimaya launches Bollywood designer Anna Singh at Delhi store.

Delhi's fashion glitterati have a new shopping appointment on their diaries. A one-stop shop, which houses some of India biggest designers, Kimaya introduced Anna Singh as a new addition to this already rich design wagon. The dynamic duo Neha and Pradeep Hirani who yet again rocked the city along with their friends from the fashion and film industry are the proud owners of Kimaya.

The launch was studded with Bollywood heartthrobs like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Chunky Pandey, Ashmit Patel, Laila Khan Rajpal and many more. The star presence was definitely not a surprise since Anna Singh is known stylist to most movie stars. Among the fashion fraternity Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Rina Dhaka, Siddharth Tytler and Puja Nayyar made their presence felt. Not ones to be left behind the Capitals who's who included Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, Dideir Leconte, Atul and Ritu Wasan and Ramona Garware- looking dapper in a Tahiliani tee. Complimenting the guests the store had a perfect ambience with the Majestic Qutub Minar lit in the background.

The collection was a mix of embroidered lace up corsets, sequinned ponchos, Baby doll tops with satin ribbon detailing and even some long pencil skirts with feathers as details. We felt the colour story ranging from brown to fuschia and turquoise could have been toned down - but as they say it's never over the top in Bollywood.
