The trick with these metallic hues is to use them as highlighters. It's all about enhancing. Shimmer and shine will give you that understated but grown-up look, just right for a dinner date. Make-up artist, Hamid Shaikh, dips his brushes in metallic shades to give Priya Sachdev, model and fiancée of hotelier, Vikram Chatwal, a glow that sparkles as much as the rock on her finger!

Silver Belle

This look has a very feminine feel, as Hamid mixed silver with soft pinks. "These two shades really complement each other and give a girl a very soft look." The eyes were kept natural. Just a coat of mascara was applied, to add some interest. Hamid patted a little Mac Silver glitter on the outer corner of eye. Make-up Forever's Silver dust was lightly applied all over the face. A soft pink blush was then added to the apple of the cheeks. Finally, Make-up Forever's Pink Orchid lipstick was brushed on to the lips.

This girlie look is great for a daytime date, or for a romantic evening in.
