Ford supermodel, Basu was new to the ways of the industry when she decided to take the plunge, but her sultry looks, husky voice and voluptuous frame soon ensured that she remained a stranger no more to stardom or the wild ways of show business. The dusky beauty lost no time in igniting the big screen with real life lover boys, the former ramp models, Dino Morea and John Abraham, in films like Raaz, Jism, Ishk Hai Tumse and the latest, Madhoshi.

As for Sherawat, the 17 much touted kisses (pared down by spoilsport TV censors) that she shared with co-star, Himanshu Mallik, in Khwahish (her earlier appearance in Jeena Sirf Mere Liye went almost unnoticed) made the small-town starlet the talk of Tinseltown. With no qualms about donning an itsy-bitsy bikini or turning in a sensual act as the adulterous, frustrated wife in Murder, Sherawat has once again hit the headlines after bagging a role in Jackie Chan's new film being shot in Shanghai.

We wonder what happens when the fire fans itself out and a new entrant on the Bollywood block turns on the heat.
