India Fashion Week (IFW) 2004 proved to be a madly eventful experience for the Verve team, who, for the first time ever, put up a special mini-site, the Fashion Week Diary, covering the entire show with on-the-spot coverage. Wake-up alarms every morning, running from show to show, quickie interviews with designers, buyers and make-up artists, characterised the hectic goings on. Then there were the rained out parties and the harried lunches - all squashed into a day buzzing with digital downloads of pictures and speed-typed catwalk reviews! Food, sleep and the odd break were 'luxuries' gladly forsaken for our special fashion week baby and the crazed effort was well worth it when we witnessed the final result - an action packed synopsis of the week that was.... Simultaneously, our readers who tuned onto 92.5 FM were invited to log on to our web site for live, on-the-spot coverage. Winners of our radio contests won free subscriptions to Verve.
