 In 1996, a young and hard-working man had an epiphany that changed his life. Subi Samuel and his passion for photography have made him among India ’s leading photographers. His unique style, imagination and quest for perfection has lead him to become one of the most recognized and established photographers of international prestige. Subi Samuel’s name is synonymous with glamour and concept photography. His is a name to reckon with in the world of film publicity, commercials and publishing. But what sets him apart is his annual foray in creative photography to expand his horizons.
Subi’ work has graced magazine covers and his clientele include not only the those belonging to the film industry, print media and other notable celebrities but also international magazines that send their representatives from the Far East and Europe. After 3 consecutive exhibitions, Soul (2001), 2 The Soul (2002), The Soul Trilogy (2003), Subi exhibited his latest offering, Souled Out. This set of exclusive pictures featured faces that have bee a source of inspiration to Subi. Celebrated names like Gulzar, Naseeruddin Shah, Karan Johar, Rajpal Yadav, Manish Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, were amongst those who attended the evening. Souled Out was held at Rock Bottom, the night spot in Juhu, with DJ Nikhil Chinnappa spinning his latest records through the night. The event kicked off with Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan unveiling their pictures. |
