A formal sit-down Black Tie dinner at the J.W Marriott was hosted in celebration of the latest treat to the olfactory senses. Spanish fragrance giants, Loewe, unveiled their most popular perfume for women, Esencia Femme in Mumbai with model Fluer Xavier draped in the 55 metre long Loewe gown, following Loewe tradition. To provide an ethnic twist to the evening, she was carried on stage in a traditional palkhi.
A style statement in itself, the fragrance is a reflection of Loewe's core values epitomising luxury and laid-back sophistication for women. The launch of the world famous brand in Indian shores is a step that Loewe has taken keeping in mind the tremendous potential that India has to offer. Loewe's patrons include the likes of Catherine Zeta Jones, Jodie Foster, Charlize Theron, Tina Turner, as well as the British and Spanish Royal Families. Loewe has been the undisputed perfume giants for more than two decades. Its introduction in India is a step towards increasing their global customer base and reach out to newer destinations. Loewe is a branch of the famous LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Henessey) group who is already established as a global brand. The fragrance is being introduced in India through Cosmos Brand International. The gala evening saw the presence of Suchitra Pillay, Shekhar Kapur, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey and Farah Khan. |
