Children of celebrities all, these young women aspire to seek their own moment in the sun. Verve takes a look at gently unfolding careers
Director, business development, at Mukta Arts, shes got her fathers instinct for business and management all right. But Subhash Ghais daughter has not imbibed any of the showmans artistic or directorial leanings. Neither did Meghna Ghai, 24, ever harbour secret dreams of emoting before the camera in a home production. London-educated and then homewards bound, Meghna is currently pursuing her pet project the Mumbai-based Whistling Woods International, a unique film, television and media arts institute. She respects her father beyond measure: His drive to achieve is inspiring, He reinvents himself to meet the challenges of every new era. He is constantly learning. And so, Meghna admits, is she. |
