This season flaunt your blush, with flowers providing the perfect inspiration for summer's beauty forecast

Chrysanthemum Craze

  • Take a neutral, flesh-toned eye shadow and blend around your eyes.
  • Use a soft shade of lavender, and with your fingers, smudge above and below your eyes, beginning with the outer brow bone, moving in a circular direction.
  • If you use a powder, take a blusher brush and apply the lavender shadow on your upper cheekbones, blending it in evenly with the colour on your eyes. With a cream based product just use your fingers. Remember not to go over the top, stay subtle.
  • For the finishing touch, apply some blue mascara on your outer lashes. You can also try a coloured, liquid eyeliner, using it as mascara.
  • Choose a shade of lipstick, preferably matte, that is close to the eye colour, and apply with your fingers. You could add the tiniest bit of shine with some vaseline. Some of the creamier eye shadows can double up as lipsticks, for a perfect match!

We recommend: Clarins Mono Reflets eye shadow in Periwinkle or Tender Lilac, Shiseido creamy eye shadow in Navy Profound, Revlon Eye Glide shimmer shadow in Lilac, Shiseido extra lengthening mascara in Deep Blue.
