Indulge in one of the most romantic complications from Breguet in its Heritage Phases De Lune Retrogarde watches which follow the phases of the moon

Breguet’s Héritage collection comprises timepieces of understated elegance for those fascinated by haute horology. This year, the House of Breguet has added a new model to the collection. A pleasure to view, it is technologically in tune with the times and in fact, even with the galaxy. Its self-winding calibre 586L movement follows the vagaries of a moon matched with the colours of the case. The hours and minutes are indicated in the dial centre of engine-turned mother of pearl.

Meticulous attention to detail is a hallmark of all Breguet offerings. Here, although invisible to the naked eye, the face on the moon is actually winking. Also, an additional special plate was made for the retrograde moonphase indication, one that did not add to the height of the movement. Moreover, the platinum winding rotor has been engine-turned by hand.

There are a number of versions of this model offering a choice between a curved tonneau case in rose gold with a matching gilt moon, with fine fluting on the caseband. There is also the option of a white gold case with a rhodium moon. The dial has a centre in mother-of-pearl, engine-turned by hand in a ‘flinqué alterné’ pattern and a chapter ring in frosted silver-plating.

The timekeepers are offered with a selection of woven leather straps and gold bracelets. For connoiseurs of luxe offerings, each timepiece exudes the magic of the moon.
