FICCI FLO presents a double whammy for Mumbai’s fashionistas with trends 2014 – an opportunity to aid the cause of educating the girl child coupled with a one-day shopping adventure

Trends 2014, the immensely successful shopping extravaganza by FICCI FLO, is all set to take place at the Vivanta by Taj President, Mumbai. An initiative of Vinita Bimbhet, Neelam Miglani, Sucheta Shah and Malti Jain, Trends 2014 provides the Mumbai haute cognoscenti an exclusive preview of all that will be the rage in the year 2014.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the apex body of industry and commerce in India, houses FLO – Bombay Chapter, its women’s wing. FLO membership comprises women who have created an impact by being actively involved in family-run businesses, entrepreneurship, the corporate sector and other esteemed professions. All proceeds garnered at Trends 2014 are invested towards the cause of ‘Educating the girl child’.

Vinita Bimbhet, member, governing body, affirms, “One of the key challenges towards educating the girl child is the lack of amenities in schools. It is towards this that FLO - Bombay Chapter is using its unique position.”

Trends 2014 is a veritable showcase of gorgeous necessities for women. It will exhibit much-coveted products by Rennaisance Homez, stunning ensembles by Narjis & Nida, fine designerwear by Shravan, south sea pearls by AKIKO and many more contemporary goodies.

Besides being a platform for entrepreneurs to display their newest innovations, Trends 2014 provides a unique shopping experience as well for its invitees. Mumbai’s glitterati brigade will definitely be seen heading towards Vivanta by Taj-President on January 16, 2014 to support the cause and check out the offerings on show.
